Linea C was conceived from Smeg’s desire to develop a new collection aligned with the brand’s aesthetic heritage, introducing a distinctly contemporary design language. The aim was to create products capable of dialoguing with the existing small appliance range, interpreting the brand’s core values, and expressing a technological vision that integrates effortlessly into the modern home.

A defining characteristic of this new generation is the careful balance between cutting-edge innovation and approachability. Our design process focused on concealing technical complexity behind an appearance of simplicity. This ensured the appliances convey advanced technology without losing the gentle, domestic presence required of objects meant to be proudly displayed in living spaces. Simple, essential forms were carefully proportioned to guarantee immediate recognizability.

Launched in 2021, the resulting collection combines pure, modern lines with a subtle softness, making each product visually refined and pleasant. Innovative material combinations such as brushed aluminum plates with polished edges—create elegant, luminous details that elevate the overall aesthetic. With user interaction streamlined for absolute clarity, Linea C preserves a natural sense of purity in both its visual presence and everyday functionality.
